Existe realmente alguma utilidade nesse pedido? Talvez no futuro a Microsoft introduza o conceito de Live Interativa e algum desenvolvedor possa fazer uso das ferramentas para reproduzir um vídeo na tile, mas me parece bastante improvável pela experiência que deve ser bastante ruim. Se chegar a aparecer aquela tile grande, fica mais viável.
Algo mais possível é que o app armazene um pequeno pedaço do vídeo, ou screenshots de diferentes partes desse vídeo e reproduza na tile. Quando a gente clicar nela, seríamos direcionados diretamente ao video. Isso poderia também deixar ela mais pesada. É mais possível porque, do jeito que entendo que a live tile atualmente funciona (não sou desenvolvedor), ela armazena algumas informações e apresenta, o único controle que o usuário/desenvolvedor tem é informar de onde vem a informação e como apresentar na live tile. Ela não tem suporte a botões, etc, como os widgets do android.
Claro que a MS pode mudar isso, mas não poderemos reclamar se ela tiver que cortar alguns aparelhos das futuras atualizações por causa de um recurso que consumirá uma razoável quantidade de recursos de hardware. Tudo tem um preço.

Para evoluir o sistema provavelmente ela vai tem que deixar muitos celular pra tras pois os celulares vao perdendo a potencia por conta que tudo vai mudando pra melhor mais acho que seria bem interessante isso e acho que mts pessoas tb

Windows Insider para a 10586 ou o Interop para usar a Redstone o seu é um 1020 então o desempenho deve ficar razoavel.
Quero nem arriscar Bro, a última vez que fui insider deu muita dor de cabeça e pau no aparelho, não compensa, a experiência foi meio traumática, nem a oficial os caras conseguem resolver com suas milhares de Build’s magina para o 1020. #sacocheiodewp
Tenho um 720 é essa ultima 10586.456 esta otima isso em um 512 , os Apps em segundo plano voltaram a funcionar a bateria esta durando mais , não tanto quanto na 8/8.1 mais o suficiente para um dia inteiro.

Acredito eu que falta a opção de se criar Telas de Bloqueio UWP que funcionem tanto para PCS , Tablets , Smartphones , uma coisa que gostaria de ver é a Live Lock Screen de volta.

You can set both lockscreen and wallpaper but it’s very restrictive…not like in a win32 app. Below is the method I used to set the lockscreen

Thank you for your suggestion 🙂 I’m already planning a mobile version of the app that will work better. The interface now is 99% the same as the PC interface so I understand that you don’t like it. I spent most of my time working on PC experience because very few of my users were on mobile. Now that balance has changed so I will spend more time on mobile side!
This interface i maded think in a UWP app , a responsive interface , my idea is a dashboard for a college student , but your app is simple so is easy make a amazing interface and pretty. A last idea , you can make a new icon for your app , you know following the windows style a monocromatic white icon.
Yea, I can see you idea has a lot more information to show. Mine is definitely trying to not seem overly complicated and scare off causal users (some already find it difficult to turn on the live wallpaper features which surprises me). I will add a new logo to the list of future changes. To be honest, it is pretty low on my list of stuff to add/change because I would rather spend my time making new features than struggling to use photoshop but I understand your point!

Hello, apologies for the confusion. Please go to settings (gear icon on the left) and then enable Live Lockscreen. The image matching your current time will be displayed and updated every 15min after that in the background. I hope that helps!
